Linbrooke opens new rail design office in Swindon
Linbrooke, expert in both conventional railway signalling and modern digital systems, has opened its new rail design office in Swindon.
Located in Station Square, the office features state-of-the-art design equipment and facilities. The new office will bring Linbrooke’s support and ‘right first time; ethos to the heart of the Great Western route.
Linbrooke was founded in Yorkshire in 2002, and has continued to grow in size and reputation and has decided to expand into the southern market to help meet the challenges of CP5.
The company has years of overseas experience of working with European Train Control Systems (ETCS), European Rail Traffic Management Systems (ERTMS) and Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC).

Linbrooke Services is a certified Network Rail Principal Contractor, licensed to work directly for Network Rail on its managed infrastructure.
The company is currently delivering a two-year national framework contract for fibre and copper infrastructure at Network Rail’s FTN (Fixed Telecommunications Network) trackside locations. The delivery of the fibre and copper infrastructure will support the enabling of over 1,500 FTN access nodes in readiness for connection of vital railway operational and business services.
At the UK Rail Industry Awards 2014, Linbrooke won the CSR award for Corporate Social Responsibility.
